Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, tucked away in the verdant plains of Southwest Uganda, is a monument to natural diversity and beauty. Covering an area of 331 square kilometers, this refuge is home to an amazing population of more than 400 mountain gorillas, which makes up a significant share of the most valuable primates known worldwide. Having been named a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site in 1994, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is well-known for its great variety of species.
